Will you tell anyone about what we talk about?
Confidentiality is a key principle in therapy, ensuring that everything you share remains private unless you give explicit permission to disclose it. This creates a safe space for you to express your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. However, therapists may need to break confidentiality in cases of safety concerns. They may also discuss cases in supervision, but your identity is always protected. If you have questions, feel free to ask.
